Jumping is not associated with many sports other than Basketball or Volleyball, however it is an important fundamental skill when it comes to all sports, including Cricket. Developing your vertical leap, can get you closer to that loose ball, improve your reach no matter the direction you move and could help with your pace when bowling!

The science of the movement of a living body, including how muscles, bones, tendons, and ligaments work together to move.
The program is suitable for basketball, volleyball, AFL, soccer, athletics and any other sport requiring jumping, speed or agility.
The program is suitable for all ages, however it’s recommended for 13 and above to ensure the concepts in the program can be understood. It’s perfectly suitable for 10 and above with parental supervision.
There are two programs, the 1 month and 3 month option.

If you have an injury it is best to recover fully before embarking on the program, however many exercises can be performed as it focuses on motor learning. If you have an injury you can focus on the training drills which will help to engrain the biomechanical movement into your brain. Motor learning is a formal way of saying improving coordination through repetition.
As the program is primarily a motor learning program it requires repetition under low loading which should not interfere with any strength or conditioning program that an athlete would be undertaking.
Supervision is not essential for completing the program. We will provide ample instruction to assist in completing the program. However a personal trainer or sports scientist can help if you want to add extra loading to your program.
We will show you the biomechanical technique that you need to jump higher. This should result in an instant improvement; you’ll also continue to improve over time.
You do not need gym equipment to complete the program. Most, if not all your gains do not require weights although if you want to explore the extra little bit of improvement you can use weights (or bags of sand) or resistance bands.
